According to details, Additional Session Judge Nadeem Ansari heard the criminal prosecution filed by Aftab Virk Advocate.
During the hearing, the petitioner told the court that Hamid Mir wrote an insulting column against the Pakistan Army on May 2, which was published in all the newspapers of Jang Group, which defamed an honorable defence institution and hurt the sentiments of hundreds of millions of Pakistanis.
He added that Hamid Mir wrote the column upon the consent of Mir Shakil and Mir Ibrahim, and requested the court to take an action against them.
At which the court issued the arrest warrants of all the three accused and ordered the police to arrest them and present before the court on August 6.
