Police claimed to have recovered weapons from possession of Khalid Chauhan. He is suspected to have killed at least 17 persons.
The criminal also reportedly confessed to have got training from India.
Police said the suspect was given a task to murder a TV news channel employee. “He was ordered to shoot in the eyes of the journalist identified by a top party leader, said a CTD official.
Further investigation is underway.
