Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired ECNEC meeting in Islamabad during which the committee approved 15 development projects across the country.
According to a statement of Ministry of Finance the ECNEC accorded approval for establishment of “National Endowment Scholarships for Talent worth Rs.10 billion.
Furthermore, the meeting approved Transmission Scheme costing over Rs.21 billion for transmission of Power from Neelum-Jhelum, Karot and Azad Pattan Hydropower Projects. Under the scheme 500 KV double circuit transmission lines are to be laid to respective load centre.
