ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has said Pakistan offers immense potential of trade and investment in the country and a secure and friendly atmosphere for the investors, Radio Pakistan reported on Tuesday.
Addressing the Annual Ambassadors’ Dinner hosted by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad, the president said Pakistan has sacrificed a lot to overcome the menace of terrorism.
The President requested the diplomats to go to their countries to lure their investors to Pakistan citing its attractive geo-strategic location, business friendly policies and potential for tourism industry.
Referring to recent Indo-Pak escalation, President Alvi relayed that Pakistan has shown the world that it is a peace-loving country despite being pushed towards the course of confrontation during the last few weeks.

Earlier, President Dr Arif Alvi, on December 14, had said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is providing one-window facility for investors to ease the lengthy investment procedure and to attract foreign businessmen.
Addressing the Pakistani community in Makkah, President Alvi had said that the procedural delays which frustrate the investors from investing in Pakistan are being streamlined into a one window operation to facilitate the investors.
