ISLAMABAD: Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s sister Faryal Talpur on Wednesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi for questioning in connection with a probe into the fake bank accounts case, ARY News reported.
A combined investigation team (CIT) of the bureau grilled her for more than an hour and handed her a questionnaire to submit reply.
It is pertinent to mention here that Faryal Talpur had earlier on Tuesday obtained bail before arrest from the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in the case.
She submitted in her bail petition that she had been asked to appear at the NAB Rawalpindi office at 11am, adding she should be granted bail as she expected that the bureau will arrest her.
