According to details, ice was being manufactured in a factory located at Kamonki area of the city when an explosion rocked the vicinity.
One of the factory workers was killed while four others were injured. The wounded persons were taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
Police arrived at the scene following the blast and launched the investigation.
