ISLAMABAD: Japan has praised Pakistan’s efforts to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.
This was stated by Japanese Ambassador Takashi Kurai during a meeting with Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Miftah Ismail in Islamabad on Friday.
Miftah Ismail welcomed Japan’s technical support in the spheres of anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing. He said these efforst would supplement Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism.

Takashi Kurai shared with the adviser information about the high level Pak-Japan policy dialogue in February.
Meanwhile, talking to Ambassador of UAE Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi in Islamabad today (Friday), the adviser to PM on finance has reiterated full support to strengthen Pak-UAE relations and overall cooperation.
The adviser said Pakistani companies and businessmen have been taking active part in exhibitions in UAE.

Miftah Ismail said collaboration in the education and health sectors is indeed important and focus would be laid on these areas in future.
