According to a foreign news agency, 32-year-old Shane Lindsey of was sentenced two to four years in jail by a Westmoreland County judge on Wednesday after he confessed his crime.
Lindsey was nabbed 20 minutes after he robbed the Citizens Bank in downtown New Kensington in Greensbury, Pennsylvania on Jan. 14.
Witnesses saw a man matching Lindsey’s description enter a restaurant after the robbery.
The law enforcers knew the restaurant had cameras and went inside hoping to find clues as to where the suspect went. However, he was found eating biscuits in one of the eatery’s booths.
The cops have also stated that the robber had used the restaurant’s bathroom to get rid of the coat and hood he wore during the robbery.
