KARACHI: In a rare instance, local Christian woman has won her longstanding legal battle against an ‘unemployed’ husband, who got into an illegal second marriage, while she was away making a living for his whole family.
Aster Younis, in her late thirties, married one Joshua Ilyas back in December 2020, following which she had to fly to Dubai to pursue a job offer so that her in-laws could pay back a debt amount they had accrued, but in her absence, her husband remarried his old friend.
