According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) sources, the summary regarding the price reduction has been prepared.
Sources have said that petrol price is likely to be decreased by Rs. 1.68 per litre while the cost of high speed diesel is expected to be brought down by Rs. 2.21 per litre.
A cut of Rs. 7.20 per litre for high octane fuel while kerosene price is likely to be slashed by Rs. 1.60 per litre, sources said.
However, OGRA sources have also stated that the cost of light diesel is expected to be hiked by Rs. 2.35 per lite.
It should be noted that the federal government had increased petrol prices in March.
