KARACHI: Two labourers were killed and another two injured after the boiler of a private factory exploded in New Karachi, ARY News reported.
The incident took place near Shafiq Mor. Fire brigades reached the site and quickly put out the fire.
Police officials said the two labourers identified as Salman and Rafiq died in the incident, while Rashid and Manzoor were severely injured and have been shifted to Burns unit at Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
Police said that investigations are underway while employees and administration of the factory will be questioned to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.
