SURAT, India: An Indian diamond merchant is making headlines this week for his extraordinary generosity for his employees, by gifting them flats and cars.
Savji Dholakia is also being labelled as the “world’s best boss ever.”
He’s a diamond tycoon based in India, where he exports diamonds to more than 70 countries.
The businessman, who owns Hare Krishna Exports in Surat, has gifted 400 flats and 1,260 cars to his employees ahead of Diwali as a reward for meeting company targets.
He said: ‘Our aim is that each employee must have his own home and car in the next five years. So we have decided to gift cars, homes and jewellery to employees.
He added that the rewards are to recognise the outstanding performance and dedication shown by employees in the last five years.
