The Rangers spokesperson in a statement condemned the attack on Rashid Godil and said the personnel have kicked off investigation of the incident from different angles.
The statement read that the perpetrators will soon be brought to justice.
Rangers also appealed the citizens to provide any clue of attackers on Rangers helpline 1101.
Earlier today, unknown attackers had fired several shots at the vehicle of MQM leader Rashid Godil in Bahadurabad area of Karachi, killing his driver and critically injuring him.
