According to SSP Sarfraz Nawaz Shaikh, the abducted woman identified as 31-year old Katrina was rescued during a raid in the jurisdiction of Khenesar Police Station.
The Ukrainian national claimed that she was abducted by a person named Abdul Munaf Nohrio from Rawalpindi and was taken to Tharparkar.
Meanwhile, the suspect’s parents have said that their son had tied the knot with the woman.
The First Information Report no. 130/2013 was filed at a police station in Mandrah against Munaf and the matter is being investigated.
