According to details, proceedings for the Baldia factory fire case were held at a court. As the final Joint Investigation Team report regarding the factory fire could still not be presented, judges expressed their anger at the poor performance of the police.
Non-bailable arrest warrants were also issued for suspect Mansoor, who is a fugitive in the Baldia factory fire case. The investigation officer stated for the record that he had been unable to arrest Mansoor since he had been unwell. The defence attorney on the other hand , stated that suspect Mansoor was in Rangers custody. Court postponed proceedings for the case till May 2.
Earlier, a new Joint Investigation Team report had claimed that the Baldia factory fire was a a deliberate act. 250 workers had been burned to their deaths since the factory owners had not been able to come up with the amount of extortion money. The court had also in it earlier hearing issued non-bailable arrest warrants for suspect Mansoor.
