A petitioner in his plea has said that a former judge over 68 years of age could not be appointed on the top post of the election commission.
The petitioner also pleaded that a former prime minister and ex chief minister were not qualify for the CEC office.
The petitioner has pleaded to the apex court to order the government for appointment of an undisputed person who fulfils merit as the head of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
