According to details, when the court resumed hearing of the Model Town case today, it found the chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr Tahirul Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Hussain Muhiyuddin and Raheeq Abbasi absent from the proceedings, despite notices issued to them.
At this, the court ordered authorities to issue an advertisement in newspapers seeking Dr Qadri and others’ appearance before the court.
All the four above mentioned people were accused of delivering provocative speeches and inciting violence against the state, and a case is sub judice against them in the ATC.
The ATC while ordering for the advertisement adjourned the hearing till February 6.
