According to our correspondent, the family had made a campfire to avoid coldness, however their shanty caught blaze and they all died of burn injuries.
The deceased persons including a woman, her four sons and three daughters. The owner of the house was several injured.
Since the area is at the outskirts Dadu, no rescue help could arrive immediately.
Local people somehow managed to inform rescue teams about the incidents, who arrived hours after when the family members had breathed their last.
They were moved to a hospital in Dadu.
Gorakh hill station is 5,800 feet above sea level in the Khirthar mountain range, 90 kilometres from Dadu town. It forms a natural border between Sindh and Balochistan.
