CALIFORNIA: Apple Inc. is likely to release new ‘low price’ laptop by the year end.
The laptop will showcase lesser features than a macbook pro.It will have a fingerprint sensor but will not feature the touch bar.
The decision to launch a relatively inexpensive Mac laptop came after millions of Apple users demanded Apple to launch a low price model that would be accessible to the masses.
The new laptop will replace Apple’s 12-inch MacBook model and its estimated price is likely to start at $1300.
According to Bloomberg this new model will be much higher in resolution than the current MacBook Air and will be targeted at consumers and schools.
Apple may or may not reveal the new laptop Wednesday, when it is holding a press event on its campus in Cupertino, California. But many expect the company to launch it before the end of the year.
