The death toll of deadly blast at civil hospital in Quetta has jumped to 70, while 112 injured persons are still at hospital, as per latest report yet.
Earlier, in the morning unknown armed men killed Balochistan Bar President Bilal Anwar Kasi at Mannu Jan Road of Quetta. The dead body of the prominent lawyer was transferred to Civil Hospital. A large number of lawyers had reached Civil Hospital to receive the mortal remains of Bilal Anwar Kasi when the deadly blast hit them at casualty department of the hospital.

Supreme Court Bar President Ali Zafar in a press conference said the colleagues of Balochistan had been long demanding security. Now, lawyer community will devise a long term strategy to avoid such incidents in future.
“Lawyers need protection as is being given to judges and politicians. We may call lawyers in front of the parliament over this issue,” he said.
