According to sources, SIU in a joint action with Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) arrested an extortionist from Saddar, Karachi, who had demanded Rs. 2 million from his victim.
The extortionist identified as Vinod Kumar is not only IT expert but also having MBA degree from foreign university.
Police sources informed that accused was involved in crime of extortion and threatening. Vinod Kumar has previously extorted Rs. 3 million from his victims, said Police.
