Four killed, several injured in road accident near Uch Sharif

The incident took place when a trailer loaded with cargo container lost balance while taking a turn and the heavy container fell on a passenger van, which was there awaiting the arrival of some more passengers.

As a consequence, four people were killed and several injured, who were immediately shifted to a hospital. The injured also included the driver of the trailer.

Rescue sources told that the incident took place due to uneven and poor road.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 60 persons died and dozens other were injured in another deadly road crash near Theri in district Khairpur, Sindh.

Poor roads and negligence of the drivers as well as concerned government departments has often caused deadly road accidents across Pakistan; however no action has ever been taken by the authorities in order to save some precious lives in future.
