According to a release by Foreign Office, the SAPM welcomed Ambassador Karim to Pakistan and expressed the confidence that his presence in Pakistan would help further strengthen the existing bilateral ties between the two sides.
“He expressed Pakistan’s strong concern at the atrocities and destruction being carried out by Daesh in Iraq and commended the Iraqi Government’s resolute efforts in the fight against terrorism”, the release read.
Karim thanked the Fatemi for the welcome accorded to him and expressed his resolve to explore new avenues of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
