Out of 152 parks administered by KMC, sources said, 122 will be auctioned. The auction of these parks will be formally announced through newspapers.
It was further said that 34 such parks lie in district South, eight in district East, two parks in district Central, three in Surjani Town and 73 in Gulistan e Jauhar.
Sources added that swings and chairlifts will also be installed in parks.
A spokesperson of the KMC told that some parks are being handed over to be taken care of, while some are being auctioned.
