In conversation with anchorperson Kashif Abbasi during ARY News program ‘Off the Record’, Memon said: “NAB officials perhaps do not read newspapers, I am out of country for past two-and-a-half month due to illness.”
He, however, said that after knowing that his name has been placed on ECL, now he will soon return to country.
The PPP leader denied reports of any case lodged against him, or any investigations being held.
Yesterday, authorities had placed Sharjeel Memon and Dr Asim on the ECL upon recommendation of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh.
