Pakistan will be eyeing a comeback in the five-match ODI series after losing the first game at Southampton by 44 runs under the duckworth-lewis method.
The green-shirts had started the tour on a high by beating the hosts in the first test match at the same venue by 75 runs.
The performance of Mohammad Hafeez has concerned the Pakistani selectors and he may be dropped from the playing XI. Sources said that Pakistani selectors can make several changes to the side.
Pakistan may also select spinner Yasir Shah for today’s game after his performance in the Lord’s Test match in which he picked 11 wickets.
It should be noted that Pakistan had beat England in the one-day played back in 2010.
