ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Export-Import Bank (EXIM) of Korea will sign an agreement for the establishment of first Software Technology Park in Islamabad on February 21.
This was announced by Minister of state for Information Technology Anusha Rahman at award distribution ceremony of the National Telecom Corporation.
The state minister said that the project will help Pakistan to promote IT sector and more than 150 IT firms would be accommodated in the park. She said that construction will commence at the 45-acre land in Chak Shahzad after the agreement.

Ms. Rahman said that that government is committed to connect the whole country through modern communication technologies by the end of 2018.
She said 107 latest technology centers would be set up in rural areas of Islamabad by the end of June , and more than 50,000 girls will be trained in these labs. She said the registration of Pakistan domain is to promote Urdu language.
