KARACHI: All government and private educational institutions in Sindh will remain close on Wednesday, 9th November on account of Iqbal Day, ARY News reported.
Sindh’s Education Department issued a notification on Tuesday, declaring 9th November as holiday. All educational institutions in the province will remain close tomorrow on the death anniversary of Allama Iqbal.
The education department has announced the closure of schools and colleges in Sindh on Iqbal Day under a decision of the standing committee on education.
The educational institutions have also been instructed to organize events and functions to highlight the services and contributions of Allama Iqbal for the creation of Pakistan.
