ATC acquits Farooqui in hate speech case

GUJRANWALA: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Gujranwala today acquitted central president of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqui in a case against him for allegedly delivering a hate speech, ARY News reported.

KARACHI: Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) on Friday announced to observe 'Ashra e Farooq-o-Hussain (RA)' from 1-10 Muharram ul Haram and demanded the government to announce an official holiday on first of Muharram on account of Day of Martyrdom of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), ARY News reported.
