The prime minister will hold meetings with federal ministers and other aides to discuss the political situation of the country and the government matters waiting to be addressed due to long absence of the prime minister.
The issue needed immediate attention of the prime minister is deadlock with the opposition in a parliament committee which was set up to decide the terms of reference (ToRs) of a judicial commission that will inquire into the Panama Leaks.
The opposition with its united strength has warned the government to launch a protest movement if government wouldn’t accept the ToRs agreed by the opposition parties.
Nawaz Sharif returned home from London on Saturday, kicking off discussions among analysts about what he should now do to secure thes future of his government.
Sharif had departed for London on May 22 with various explanations, which was later confirmed with the information that he had gone abroad for a heart bypass surgery.
The prime minister had asked his supporters not to come out on streets to greet him, saying he did not want to inconvenience them in the ongoing hot weather.
