On the occasion, Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) and PAF fighter planes jointly participated in the air show and performed flying maneuvers.

The Mirage jets, F-7PGs and J-10s filled Quetta’s sky with the various colours.

A large number of people, including women and children watched the show with great interest. Balochistan Chief Minister Nawaz Sanaullah Zehri was the chief guest on the occasion.

Civil and military officials from two countries were also present. Air vice Marshal Haseeb Paracha and Air Officer Commandant Southern Air Command welcomed the Chinese officials.

At the outset of show, PAF F-7PGs along with helicopters presented aerobatic maneuvers amidst the cheers and clapping of the spectators.

Subsequently, the performance by PLAAF jets added colours to the mega event.

It merits mentioning here that the CPEC worth $62 billion is the largest unilateral foreign direct investment from one nation into another.

The countrywide projects under CPEC are currently underway that will likely not only improve Pakistan’s infrastructure but will deepen the economic and political ties between China and Pakistan.
