According to sources, a Lyari gangster named Shafiq was killed in an encounter at Gulistan Colony area of Lyari. Rangers said that that Shafiq was affiliated to Aziz Baloch group and he was wanted for the murder of 16 people alongwith ransom and many other offences.
On the other hand, another Lyari gangster by the name of Munna Bengali was arrested in an injured state at Kalri area of Lyari. According to Police, he was wanted for extortion and other crimes.
Police also arrested two alleged target killers near Tipu Sultan Road.
