KARACHI: Pakistan’s renowned actor Hamza Ali Abbasi showered praise on actress cum model Zhalay Sarhadi after watching her act and dance in the recently released local crime drama movie ‘Jalaibee’, ARY News reported.
Abbasi who is famous for putting everything he feels on his facebook page, in a recent update praised the actress Zhalay Sarhadi for not showing off her skin in the movie to get cheap word of mouth for the film.
Hamza said “I am tremendously proud of Zahalay Sarhadi for not taking her clothes off in her performance in the film”
The actor was so impressed by the movie’s reliance on quality work for success and promotion that he did not forget to give credit to the film’s director Yasir Jaswal.
The ‘Pyare Afzal’ actor further lauded Yasir Jaswal for “not going along with the emerging trend of revealing “item numbers” in Pakistan films”
Zhalay Sarhadi has a small but important role in the movie with the song ‘Jawani’ filmed on her dance.
It must be noted that ‘Jalaibee’ has already dominated Pakistan box office with a dream opening of 10 million rupees on its premiere.
