Army Chief vows to break nexus between terrorism and corruption

This is according to the Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj. General Asim Bajwa who shared the details of Twitter.

The Army Chief was speaking to a gathering of the Chinese Embassy on the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), which is the armed forces of China.

He said that PLA the most formidable force which reminds for the power of unity between people, for which no distance is too long and no task is too hard.

The Army Chief expressed his sincere greetings to the leaders, people and the armed forces of China, and said that the people and the armed forces of Pakistan take pride in their bonds of friendship. He said that the affinity of views reflects the common vision and shared destiny between the two countries.

He said that the CPEC is a strategic game changer not just for Pakistan but for the entire region as it will being significant improvement in the lives of millions of people. He vowed that the security of the CPEC is the national undertaking of Pakistan and they will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the project is completed without any interruption.

Moreover, he said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue to act against terrorists without any discrimination. It is their unflinching resolve to break the nexus between the terrorists, criminals and corruption.

The Chinese appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army to wipe out terrorism from the country and the region. They also thanked them for making efforts for the realisation and the security of the CPEC.
