The Canadian singer had gone to hear his contemporary artist, as well as fellow Canadian musician Drake headline the festival. However, things went sour when Coachella security refused to let Beiber enter the festival.
Justin Beiber, who showed up with model Kendall Jenner, tried to enter when he was stopped by security. According to reports, Beiber informed security personnel that he had been personally invited to the show by Drake himself. However, Beiber and his entourage were not let through but were instead escorted out. During the altercation, sources reported that the 21 year old pop star was put into a chokehold by one of the security personnel before being escorted out.
Justin Beiber has been known for his bad boy image in the media recently. Beiber’s recent antics include driving drunk, being involved in an altercation with his neighbor and doing drugs. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the most prestigious annual music festivals around the world. This year the event was headlined by Drake who also brought out pop icon Madonna, as a surprise guest performer. The whole event took a shocking turn when Madonna grabbed Drake unexpectedly and kissed the 28 year old rapper. Drake’s surprise reaction to the kiss went viral on the internet as people viewed it as Drake being ‘disgusted’.
