ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, approved establishment of a permanent secretariat of the Council of Common Interest (CCI) on Thursday, ARY News reported.
The cabinet approved a proposal of the permanent secretariat for the CCI, which consists of the members of the provinces and the federation.
A report on reforms in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and the policy about repatriation of Afghan refugees was also part of the 23 point agenda of the cabinet meeting.
The meeting also approved amendment in the gas purchase agreement with Iran.
