Two robbers were busy looting the citizen in Korangi no.4 when a large number of people encircled them and collared. Enraged citizens vent their anger in shape of brutally assaulting the robbers.
When informed, police officials reached the spot and arrested the muggers in an injured condition. The robbers were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where they succumbed to their injuries.
Meanwhile, two robbers were also killed in police encounter near Sabzi Mandi area. Similarly, citizens caught a dacoit in Soldier Bazaar who was depriving a man of his valuables. They thrashed him and handed over to the police.
Separately, police recovered a three-year-old child in a raid in Ajmer Nagri. Kidnappers had demanded Rs 1 million to release the child. Police also seized cache of weapons from the possession of abductors.
