SUKKUR: Minister for State Abid Sher Ali found himself in an awkward situation on Tuesday when be boarded to be seated with Manzoor Wattoo of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Aleem Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing media after landing in Sukkur, the minister said that he did not have comfortable flight.
“It is for the first time I have travelled with relo kattay” he said when asked by journalists about his experience using a derogatory slang to describe turncoats.
Wattoo disembarked in Sukkur to attend the death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bux, while the other two continued travelling to Karachi.
Sindh will not vote for PPP
The state minister said that the people of Sindh will not vote for the PPP in the next elections seeing the dismal situation of the province, while they will wipe out PTI chairman Imran Khan from politics.
He strongly accused people of Sindh for blatant electricity theft, and said that strict action will be taken against those responsible. He pointed out the ‘pirs’ of Pir Jo Goth and Daharki are involved in electric theft worth millions of rupees, while even the police administration of Ghotki are also stealing electricity.
Furthermore, he accused that the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) was behind electricity theft in Karachi, while the Sukkur office of the MQM had unpaid arrears worth after which supply was disconnected.
