As ARY News caught red-handed a fake faith healer in Punjab province’s Kasur district in its November 18 show, and handed him over to police, reports are that the thug has been released from police custody, a day after the arrest.
Following the development, ARY News anchor Iqrar-ul-Hassan, who leads the show which does such sting operations, invited religious scholars and learned Sufis to shed light on the issue of fake faith-healing.
Amongst the attendees of the show, there was Baba Yahya, the famed Sufi and author of best sellers Piya Rang Kala, Kajal Kotha and Shab Deeda.
Iqrarul Hassan also asked Baba Yahya about why illiterate and ill-mannered people are considered as great faith healers in Pakistan, here is what he replied!
