ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar on Monday said the government would’ definitely’ steer the nation out difficult situation and crisis, ARY News reported.
Speaking in the ARY News programme 11th Hour hosted by Waseem Badami, Dar, who is also Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, clarified that the government was not happily taking measures that are causing inflation. “The prices of petroleum products are increasing at the international level,” he stated.
He claimed that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government ‘artificially’ ran the economy during last five years of its tenure.

The PTI leader said the PML-N government kept initiating expensive projects through loans that ultimately burdened the economy.
He said the government would definitely steer the nation out of this difficult time and situation.
“I invite the opposition to sit together and form the charter of economy.”
To a question, Dar said it was prerogative of the prime minister to choose participants of the cabinet meetings.
Earlier in the day, a petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday challenging the government notification increasing price of petrol by Rs 6. Prices of petrol and high speed diesel have been increased by Rs6 a litre, each. While, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel were hiked by Rs3 a litre each by the government on Sunday (March 31).
