RAWALPINDI: Indian forces on Wednesday open unprovoked firing targeting a UNMOGIP vehicle mission along the Line of Control.
According to Inter Services Public Relations, Indian forces committed ceasefire violations targeting a UNMOGIP vehicle moving along the LoC in Khanjar sector.
The vehicle was carrying UNMOGIP officers Major Emmanual of Philippines and Major Mirko of Croatia .
The officers were visiting LoC with the UNMOGIP blue flag hoisted as per procedure. However, both officers remained safe and returned back to their location.
