LAHORE: Advocate Supreme Court and former deputy prosecutor general National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Raja Aamir Abbas on Saturday said the case against Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz was a perfect example of kickbacks, ARY News reported.
“It is a perfect case of kickbacks against Hamza Shehbaz,” Raja Aamir Abbas said.
He said the case of money laundering against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader was also “a class apart”.
The advocate said TT was a banking channel which held a regular record.
“The questions (from the suspect) are clear that what the sources of the money are,” he said.
The former deputy prosecutor general NAB said the evidence will increase volume of the case against Hamza Shehbaz.
“Such money is called kickback. It is sent abroad and then it is returned back from there,” he said adding that the suspect would tell why he sent the money.
He said such cases were shelved in the past.
A team of the NAB returned from the residence of Hamza Shehbaz on Saturday after the Lahore High Court (LHC) ordered it not to arrest the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly until April 08.

The high court on a petition stopped the NAB from arrest of Hamza Shehbaz till Monday when the court will hear his protective bail.
Hamza Shehbaz had pleaded to the court for a protective bail today.
Earlier, a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team on Saturday reached to the residence of of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shehbaz Sharif at Model Town here for his arrest.
