The security forces in Khyber-I operation destroyed a hideout of the local chief of the militant outfit in Bara tehsil of the Khyber region.
According to reports forces have blocked the roads leading to Bara.
Jet fighters have also been overflying in the tribal region.
The forces on Thursday announced to kill 21 suspected militants in air attacks at the positions of the outlawed Lashkar-i-Islam militant group in the area.
