Governor Imran Ismail calls on KP chief minister

ISLAMABAD: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Saturday called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in Islamabad, ARY News reported.

Both the leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and situation of the country. They expressed their resolve to timely complete the projects ongoing in cooperation with the federal government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Imran Ismail and Mahmood Khan agreed that with completion of the development projects, the living standard of people would also ameliorate.

The Sindh governor lauded the efforts of the KP chief minister for promotion of tourism in the province.

He said the development projects for welfare of masses in the province were worthy of being followed.

Mahmood Khan said we would have to work in collaboration for prosperity of masses and development of the country.

On April 8, Imran Ismail had said that provision of best education and health facilities were top priorities of the current government.

Addressing the 15th convocation of Karachi Institute of Power Engineering, he had said that it was the responsibility of the passing out students to serve for the development and prosperity of the country.

He had said that Pakistan was facing internal and external challenges and in the current situation, their brave armed forces with the support of nation foiled nefarious designs of enemy.

The governor had said that institutions like Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and Karachi Nuclear Power Plant were also playing their effective role for the defence of the country.
