BUREWALA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said that general elections are just two weeks ahead, and he has a feeling there will be a ‘revolution on change’ on July 25.
Addressing a campaign rally in Burewala, the PTI chairman said that the spell of darkness will end soon and there were the dawn of a new era. “I have a feeling there will be a revolution of change. This long dark night will end and there will be dawn of new era.”
He said two prominent parties, referring to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), were taking turns for three decades and would continue to rule if the PTI was not there.
“Either Zardari or Nawaz Sharif, the people would have no choice. Now even their children are preparing to take turns,” he said, adding that people should come out in large numbers for the future of new generations.
“PTI is now in the field. We will defeat both these parties. They have always treated the people as mere cattle. There will be change everywhere in new Pakistan.”
Referring to the conviction in the Avenfield case, he said that Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz should be celebrating and thanking him for the verdict. He said every government lies behind just two things, a an empty treasury and Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
He said that no nation can progress without the rule of law, and dispensation of justice, while it was characteristic of developed economies to provide its citizens and get rewarded for their hard work.
He further said the workers will bring a new system for the labourers, and improve agricultural sector in rural areas as investments by farmers will boost crop yield and benefit the country. Therefore, the people exercise their right and vote for an ideology.
