Police said that unknown persons threw a cracker at a gambling den in Malir due to which one person was killed. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after the attack.
Several persons with ages between 25 to 30 years were injured in the attack. The injured identified as Mohammad Yaseen, Adnan, Abdul Aziz, Waqas, Abdul Ghaffar and Shabbir.
The residents of the area have said that Javed, the owner of the gambling den, was running his gambling den with the help of some corrupt police officers.
They have demanded the concerned authorities to shut the den forever.
