The petition was heard in LHC on Tuesday (today). The court ordered IG Punjab to clarify why PTI workers are being arrested by law enforcement agencies.
Additional Inspector General (AIG) Operations, during the hearing, told the court that barriers are placed across the city for the security of PTI and PAT leaders Imran Khan and Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. He added that terrorist activities are feared to take place if the two leaders are not given security.
LHC constituted a larger bench under the presidency of Justice Mehmood Bhatti to hear another petition of the similar nature.
