Police arrests lawyer who misbehaved with police officers at Sea View

KARACHI: Police in Karachi have arrested the lawyer who misbehaved with the law enforcers near Sea view last week, ARY News reported on Saturday night.

The man who was identified as Khawaja Shamsul Islam, a lawyer at Sindh High Court (SHC), had misbehaved with police officials during snap checking near Sea View within the precincts of Darakhshan Police Station.

The incident created an uproar on social media when the video of the lawyer shouting and cursing police officers went viral on social media.

Social media users opined that Shams should have cooperated with police and answered their questions in a calm manner, while he was traveling in a car with a fake number plate.

The man is now in police custody at Darakhshan police station.
