ISLAMABAD: ARY News has obtained final medical report of the under arrest Chairman Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Zafar Hijazi on Saturday.
According to the medical report prepared by a five-member medical board, Hijazi was suffering from chest pain in the morning and later he was relieved through treatment.
His Exercise Tolerance Test has turned out as positive. However, the report suggests shifting him to coronary care unit (CCU) to be treated for acute coronary syndrome. The report also suggests his psychiatric evaluation as he is “under lot of mental stress”.
The report contains a major typo as Hijazi’s name on top of it is written Jajazi.

Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shabbir granted physical remand of the SECP chairman for four days, turning down the request of FIA officials for keeping him in their custody for ten days to question him with regard to his involvement in the record tampering case.
Following his remand, the FIA authorities brought the ailing suspect back to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical tests.

Earlier on Friday, he was arrested outside the court after it declined to extend his bail.
Hijazi has been booked in a case following the Supreme Court’s order in the Panama Papers implementation case for allegedly tampering with financial records of the Sharif’s companies.
