Nisar asks Khattak not to drag FC into politics

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar has congratulated the police for maintaining writ of the state during Islamabad protest, ARY News reported.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the interior minister responded to Pervez Khattak’s criticism, saying that the KP chief minister would face the same treatment if he comes to Islamabad with an intent to create chaos.

He asked Khattak not to drag Frontier Constabulary into politics.

The KP CM had slammed the government for placing blockades on routes leading to Islamabad, and targeted the rulers for stirring confrontation between FC personnel and Pakhtuns arriving from KP to take part in the protest.
